# Creating AI Images in KoalaImages

Creating images in KoalaImages is easy!

If you have reference images, simply click the button and upload your reference images. Otherwise, follow the steps below to create images using KoalaImages.

1. **Type in your prompt.** For the purpose of this guide, I will be creating images of a British shorthair.

2. **Choose an image model.** The better the image quality, the higher the credit cost per image.

3.  **Select an image style.** You can choose from our [Standard Styles](https://support.koala.sh/en/article/ai-images-in-koalawriter-and-koalaimages-na9kb3/?bust=1747810182465#3-image-styles-in-koalawriter-and-koalaimages), or create your own [Custom Image Style](https://support.koala.sh/en/article/how-to-use-custom-image-styles-in-koalawriter-and-koalaimages-1k0iqkt/).

4. **Choose an image size.** The available image sizes for each image model differs, but the common ratios are available for all models—1:1. 3:2, and 2:3.

5. **Choose how many images you want to create.** You can choose from 1 to 4 images for your prompt.

6. **Enable or disable Enhance Prompt.** We recommend keeping this on in most cases.

7. **Double-check your settings and prompt, then hit Enter.** Below are the settings and prompt I used for this sample.

**Note:** If you have a specific image in mind, we recommend providing a more specific prompt. Something like "smiling koala" or "golden retriever surrounded by a happy family" will do nicely. This can also result in more variety for the created images.
