How to connect WordPress to Koala AI
Connecting Koala AI to WordPress is simple with our new plugin, which offers enhanced functionality and a smoother publishing experience. If you prefer not to use a plugin, you can use our REST API integration.
Installing our WordPress plugin is quick and easy:
Install the plugin
- From your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New
- Search for "Koala AI"
- Click Install Now and then Activate
Connect your account
- Go to the Koala AI menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar
- Click the Connect button
- Confirm the connection
That's it! Your WordPress site is now connected to Koala AI with all advanced features enabled.
Once you connect your site, you will be able to see the "Create Draft" button above all your articles on KoalaWriter. It will look like this:

Clicking "Create Draft" will give you several publishing options. Note that you can click "Save Settings as Default" to have them prefilled each time.

The WordPress plugin offers several advantages over the standard REST API integration.
