How to enable "light mode" on Koala website

Currently, there's no option on the Koala website to switch from dark mode to light mode. But if you struggle because of the dark interface, worry not.

Luckily, a few users from our Discord community shared their workarounds! For now, you can use these.



Color Changer: for Google Chrome

1. Download the Color Changer extension.



2. Click "Text Color" and set it to 0%.



3. Click "Background Color" and set it to 95%.



4. Click "Link Color." You can select any shade you want and adjust it to your preference or copy the settings I use below.



5. Click the checkbox on the top right to enable the extension.



6. If you copied my settings, the Koala home page should look like this!





Midnight Lizard: for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge

1. Download Midnight Lizard. Google Chrome | Microsoft Edge



2. Enable "Increased Contrast" under "Current color scheme" on the right side. Click "Apply"



3. Go to "Global settings" on the bottom right. Uncheck "Run on all websites by default." Click "Apply"



4. Go to Background on the left sidebar. Copy the settings or adjust them to your preference. Click "Apply"



5. Go to the Buttons menu. Copy the settings or adjust them to your preference. Click "Apply"



6. Go to the Text menu on the left sidebar. Copy or adjust to your preference. Click "Apply"



7. Now, go to the Links menu. Again, copy or adjust to your preference. Click "Apply"



8. Enable Midnight Lizard. Simply click the toggle on the top right to turn it on.



9. If you copied my settings, the Koala home page should now look like this!
