Real-Time Data in KoalaWriter

If enabled, KoalaWriter's Real-Time Data feature allows the AI to fetch data from the web for each section and use that data to help generate the article.

Let's dive in to the other features under Real-Time Data.

Deep Research

Deep Research enables much higher-quality articles by performing in-depth research at every stage of the article.

Note: This will substantially increase the time it takes to complete the article. Currently free to use.

Data Source

Under Data Source, there are four options: Web, Google Scholar, Google News, and Custom Search (Advanced).

  • Web: This option uses real-time data from all of the top-ranking pages in the SERP. Default data source, and it is recommended for most articles.
  • Google Scholar: This option only uses sources available in Google Scholar. Only use this if your target keyword has results in Google Scholar, such as health-related topics.
  • Google News: This option only uses sources available on Google News. Perfect for target keywords that focus on recent events or trending topics.
  • Custom Search (Advanced): This option allows you to put in your own Custom Search Operators to filter which websites will be used as a data source for the article.

Enable this option if you want KoalaWriter to automatically insert external links in the article.

Note: Works best with Claude 4 Sonnet.
